Firsts
I like thinking about Kate's firsts, from the ordinary to the more specific.
First Plane Flight - 3 weeks
First Smile - 5 weeks
First "ah-goo" - 7 weeks
First Laugh - 10 weeks
First visit to UNC - 14 weeks
First Football Game - 15 weeks
First big whiff of a Yankee Candle - 15 weeks
To think that she has never experienced something before, and does it for the very first time, and will continue to do it as long as she lives, is pretty nifty.

Yankee Candles are nice smelling candles that come in jars. They have nice kitchen-y scents that make my parents' house smell like someone is always baking (even when they aren't!)
Is first football game, watching on tv? If so Meg's was 1 day. Of course, being born during football season helps that out ...

Dawn - nope, her first in-person high school game under the Friday night lights.
There is a candle store in Elkin NC that sells all these name brand candles at REALLY low prices. Sometimes they may or may not have the "brand" name on them...but you know its what it is. They also sell the "assessories" like the holders etc...different tea lites and more. Its been a few years since I've been up there, but its amazing what you can come out with if you like candles...especially for gifts on a budget! Its in a really run down warehouse kind of thing...but is fun to go to and well worth the trip.
