Trendy Babe
Kate is OBSESSED with U2's album How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb and has been for some time. When she's upset in the car, she will listen to nothing else. When she can't sleep, we have to go get the CD out of the car for her. She loves to dance to Vertigo and then she relaxes and just enjoys the music. At least she's not obsessed with Barney.

Hey, great website. Just surfin' by on the "next blog" button. We've got the newborn's-website-for-the-family too. Enjoy!
Good for you. Olivia also enjoys real music, and thus far has only been subjected to kid-tunes at play group. I'm not sure if it's selfishness or taste that is driving me to prevent her from listening to anything marketed to kids.
I am guilty of watching Baby Mozart though. I think that since it's classical music we're still in the green.
On a related topic, Olivia learned how to say "DaDa" recently, and when we were driving home the other day we were listening to Beck in the car. There's a part where some ladies sing, "Na Na Na Na Na Na," (I wish I could think of the name of the song) and Olivia would follow with, "Dadadada" in a very sing song voice. It was both cute and encouraging that perhaps she's developing a good taste in music.
Wow! I just don't even know what to say. I'm speechless. And so proud!
I am quite proud, but I think I will appreciate the album more when I don't listen to it several times a day!
